Cool mechs, which create cool moments of discovery whilst playing. But it’s a convoluted rules mess, and one of the clunkiest and jankiest shooting games of the modern era.

Have played multiple copies on location. Never flowy, but shots are surprisingly set up dependent. Machines shoot noticeably different from one to the next…much more than a new stern. I am not afraid of a complex game, but this one veers into being ponderous. It has some really cool shots, great theming, sound, and enjoyable big moments. I would describe it as a good and unique game, but not an all timer. Seems like it would be best suited for a high skill home player who enjoys getting into the weeds with a game.
